Balik Kampung buat sekian kalinye

Untuk tahun ni , aku akan beraya di tanah tumpah yang ku cinta iaitu The Land Of Hornbills... hehehe Sarawak.... dah lama tak balik ke sana memandangkan bulan 3 hari tu balik sbb pasal engagement tapi malangnya tak jadi di saat akhir... keputusan aku sendiri... sian plak Ziela yang mengharapkan aku walaupun aku tahu dia still syg aku...huhuhuhu... anyway forget benda yang dah lepas..... kite kena maju ke depan bukan memandang ke belakang... Raya di Sarawak amatla berbeza dengan di semenanjung, kemeriahan lebih terasa bila berada di kampung sendiri... adat kunjung mengunjung, berbaju melayu, memasang pelita masih kuat bila berada di kampung sendiri... dengan kerinduan yang penuh di jiwa ni , aku wat keputusan balik kampung selama 2 mggu ... wah lamanya... banyak aktiviti dirancang walaubagaimana niat untuk bersama dengan famili tetap diutamakan especially my anak buah... Azuan Zainuldin ... dan barula merancang bersama aktiviti dengan kengkawan lama aku kat sana nanti.... huhuhuhu time ni aku berada di LCCT di balai kelepasan.... flight ke Kuching AK5204 ditunda atas kelewatan kerna flight dari Terengganu mengalami kelewatan tiba ke LCCT .... huhuhu ... kena tunggu lagi... walaupun mata asyik menahan nak tido je ni....hehehhehehe

Finding the Right Photographer

The decision of which photographer to work with is extremely important and with so many about it’s easy to find yourself in the situation of not knowing who to approach. The first thing you should think about is whether your portfolio represents you in th

e best possible way and what extra dimension you’re hoping to add to it with this shoot. From there you can start to look at the photographers you’re interested in using to see whether you feel they can meet your needs. Take a detailed look at their work and consider the following points:

Photographer Portfolio

• What is the overall standard of images they take?
• Do you like the ideas and concepts they use?
• Do they retouch the images?
• What is the standard of the models they use?
• Do they have their own studio?
• Do they do location work?
• Can you see their work in your portfolio?

Model Recommendations, Opinions and Feedback

It’s a really good idea to talk to other models and check out their work to see which photographers they have collaborated with. They’re obviously the best people to ask because they were previously in exactly the same position as you (and they’re attractive too!). Don’t be afraid to ask any questions as it’s better to get them all answered before you contact the photographer.

Photographer Recommendations

The photography community is generally pretty aware of one another so it’s always helpful to ask any photographers you know or have already worked with, for their opinions. One rule of thumb when accepting advice from personal experience is that sometimes they can be fairly competitive of one another and may not want you to work with someone and will unfortunately give negative opinions. This is only in the rarest of instances, but take everything with a pinch of salt and make up your own mind – of course, if you have build great rapport with a photographer, it’s worth taking their advice on board.

Photo Shoot Do’s & Don’t’s

Photo shoots can be daunting at the best of times, especially if you are new to modeling. From my own experience, there are a few hints and tips that I have learnt along the way that are always worth considering.

Pre-Shoot discussion

Make sure that you plan time in to discuss with the photographer, the needs and objectives of the forthcoming shoot. You can meet in person or even a phone call will suffice. Don’t be afraid to ask any questions and make sure that the photographer is prompting you with the necessary information you require. Most importantly, discuss the concept in detail – make sure everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. The likely questions you need to cover are:

• Where is the shoot
• Start / End times of the shoot
• Is a make up artist or any other 3^rd party involved
• Body Hair, keep or remove (a common one for me)
• Facial Hair
• What clothes (if any) that you need to bring
• Payment – TFP or Paid?
• What the images will be used for

Pack your model bag accordingly

This bag should have all your essential bits and pieces for the busy day ahead. It should compose of any clothes that the photographer has asked you to bring, something to eat/drink, hair gel and of course some trusty concealer is always a good thing to remember too. I always throw my mobile phone charger and bank card in, just in case. Since not everyone’s life is ran by an iPhone such as mine, make sure that you have the photographers contact details and address in your bag. Don’t over pack it if you are on location too – the last thing you want to be doing is carrying around a suitcase sized bag all day.

Be punctual

There is nothing worse than being late for a photo shoot. Time is precious for everyone involved so be realistic about the time given to get to the studio/location with extra time in case of traffic etc. If you have any issues, let the photographer know as soon as you possibly can.

Turn your mobile phone off!

There is nothing worse than your XFactor ringtone going off in your bag when a shoot is well underway. Not only is your dreadful choice of ringtone highly embarrassing, you look very unprofessional and are likely to upset the photographer as well.

Create a connection with your photographer

Even if you don’t get on, its still essential that you work together the best you can or it will show in the final result. Make as much effort as you can to be sure the shoot will be as successful as it can be.

Make a good impression

This is fundamentally the most important thing in the book for me and is really essential so that people will want to work with you again in the future. The photographer will be much more inclined to give positive recommendations about you to other people in the industry. Manners cost nothing so be polite, take an interest in the photographers work and remember, just because they are photographing you, its not all about you.

Know your boundaries

If any form of nudity has been discussed as part of a photo shoot, make sure that you stick to your guns and work with what was agreed. At the end of the day, it is only you who can decide what you are comfortable with. It’s just as important to consider what the photos are going to be used for and to be confident with the decision you make. Look at the quality of a photographers work, weigh up the impact that nude photography could have on you and remember you are in control.

Model Release Form

Make sure that you sign one for EVERY shoot that you do. This doesn’t just protect the photographer, it’s for your benefit as well. There is nothing wrong with taking a few minutes to read it to make sure you are happy with everything and that you are not selling your soul to the devil. Make sure you keep them all on file for future reference too.

Request feedback

Modeling is a learning curve. It isn’t something that you learn overnight so it’s important to request feedback when appropriate to do so. From this, you can learn from any positive criticism that you receive and pass on constructive remarks to people you work with in the future.

My Next Photoshoot... Arabian Dress Couture....

Semalam aku dah wat perjumpaan ngan sorang minah ni yang memerlukan khidmat aku sebagai photographer untuk memperagakan fashion dan design dia dalam konsep arabian... maklumla dia pun belajar di USIM... dah jadi rupa minah arab plak walhal org ALoq SetaQ je.... heheheheh... okla ni la dia Naseyba.....

Mamat ni kena merdekakan kepala dia nie...

Sy baru nak berpatriotik tetiba plak mamat bernama Faddullah Syukri ni membusukkan nama anak-anak Swak.... aish melampau ni... kes buang bayi rasa nya banyak di semenanjung... pehal lak mamat ni kata Swak plak yang kena teruk...hanjeng... tambahan orang-orang kite iaitu orang Islam yang tidak sayangkan anak mereka... at least kami di Swak masih tahu untuk menilai nilai-nilai kemanusiaan ... kalu taknak bukan bermakna buang tapi memberikan kepada orang yang memerlukan... Bodohla FADDULLAH SYUKRI... ni la anak-anak zaman skank tahu untuk memporakperandakan perpaduan masyarakat kite... tak tahu makna erti nilai merdeka dalam diri masing2.....

Rindu membelengui hati aku...

Hurmmm tetiba plak aku teringat orang yang aku sayang.... semua yang aku sayangi taw... tak terlalu objektif ke seseorang... selalu orang salah anggap yang aku ni rindu dengan ni , dengan tu la, padahal aku merindui semua yang aku kenal dan sayang... huhuhu... 4 haribulan ni aku akan kembali ke kampung halaman aku.... hoorey bes lama sik pulang kampung kamek sia...hehehhehe

Sekalung tahniah kepada Opek (sengaja aku guna nama kampung dia) sebab berjaya meraih ke final round dalam pertandingan pemilihan watak dalam video klip Pagi Band. Penyertaan dari minggu lepas bersaing dengan ramai orang termasuk la aku sendiri yang bersaing dengan dia...namun tersungkur di sekerat jalan.... kecewa ? hurmmm tolak ketepi... bangga adalah sebab Opek adalah hasil didikan aku sendiri dalam bidang modelling dan photoshoot... namun apa yang aku harapkan jika dia yang layak menang untuk ni... satu pesanan aku ... jangan lupa diri... siapa diri sendiri, asal usul dan kawan-kawan yang berjaya menaikkan dirinya... walaubagaimanapun gudluck for him atas usaha dan ketabahan dia untuk menjadikannya anak seni yang disegani.... namun ada banyak lagi pembelajaran yang harus aku ingatkan dan ajari ... insyallah ada masa aku ajar lagi apa yang ilmu dan pengalaman aku sebelum ni...

Berbuka di Shah Alam Potek....

Takda plan pun nak g sana... tapi sebab member kan susah dan jarang nak jumpa so luangkan masa di Shah Alam dan berbuka pose terus kat sana... Apa-apa pun kami bertiga memang kecoh... bulan pose ni semua orang lemah longlai manakala aku, ejiey dan wan sebaliknya....

Bulan Puasa

Sempena bulan pose banyak plan dibuat untuk bebuka bersama walaupun masing-masing bz... tetapi semangat setiakawan kami tetap dapat berbuka bersama... alhamdulillah... walaupun aku ada kesempatan dari segi kewangan namun budget makan berbuka tetap ada... rezeki dari Allah SWT... amin... Bab memasak walaupun setahun sekali skill memasak ni dipendamkan alhamdulillah dapat gak refresh semula skill tu hehehhehe... Kelmarin dulu teringin nak wat kari ikan ala mamak akhirnya berjaya gak.... yes... petang ni nak masak bersup pula.... huhuhu....oklah aku selitkan gambar sepanjang bulan pose ni....

Misz Aieda Photoshoot

Wanita kecil molek dan aktif ni memang pandai bergaya... tidak segan untuk menunjukkan pose2 yang menarik untuk ditatapi oleh lensa aku kali... aku tak banyak mengarah semuanya berjalan dengan profesional... walaubagaimanapun syabas kepada Misz Aieda atas kesungguhannya dia dalam menyelesaikan tanggungjawab aku selaku photographer untuk photoshoot kali ni...

Misz Yaya Photoshoot

Sabtu lepas baru-baru aku ngan 2 orang model bersama pembantu aku Amien dan jurumakeup aku sendiri Azizi ditemani oleh kawannya buat photoshoot untuk Misz Yaya dan Misz Aieda. Cadangan aku nak buat kat kawasan kapal karam di Sunshine Resort namun niat terpadam apabila melihat kawasan itu sudah dibersihkan huhuhu.... kalut gak nak cari tempat ... last-last Jiji cadangkan wat kat Casa Ricardo di Telok Kemang...Berikut gambar terbaik yang aku pilih untuk dipaparkan di sini....

Hidup Tak Semestinya Indah

Malam tadi malam yang sangat down... ngan hubungan aku dengannya. Aku bukan mengharapkan apa-apa juz hanya perhatian dia terhadap aku... maybe aku perlukan perhatian... dari sudut positivenya sekurang-kurangnya dia tahu perkembangan aku... ni aku sakit pun dia tak taw, walhal aku dah beritahu dia tp seolah-olah endah tak endah je... jangan nak berlagak perlu untuk mencover dirinya itu... tp kena juga amik berat orang yang disayangi.... aku kan sini hanya tanggung diri sendiri je walaubagaimanapun jika hal ini berterusan juga lambat laun aku kena tinggalkan dia juga memandangkan dari aku menyeksa aku sendiri biarlah aku meneruskan kehidupan aku yang seterusnya.

Walaupun kini aku mengharungi kemuraman dalam hubungan buat sementara waktu ini aku mahu menumpukan perhatian aku terhadap kerjaya aku sebagai cikgu, photographer dan study aku yang akan berakhir hujung tahun ni...Doakan aku berjaya k....
